The Downriver Community Conference (DCC) weatherization program has funds available for income-qualified Dearborn residents who need help paying their home energy bills. DCC will provide assistance based upon eligibility requirements. Those who qualify can receive up to $800 towards energy bill payments, based on the amount owed.

Beginning Jan. 3, applications will be taken Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the offices of the DCC weatherization program, located at 15100 Northline Road in Southgate. To apply, you must bring the following information: Current home heating bill, (the bill must in the name of the person applying for the assistance funds);. proof of household income for previous 12 months; Social Security Card for each person living in the household; photo identification.
