DEARBORN — Test-driving a new car at Fordson High School on April 29 can help raise money for the school’s band. Ford Motor Co. and Fairlane Ford dealership are offering to contribute $20 per spin.
From 4-9 p.m. that day, for every person who stops by the school during the Drive One 4 UR School event and takes Ford’s new crossover Flex, a Fusion or an F-150 for a drive, $20 will go to the Fordson band, with as much as $6,000 available.

Over $750,000 has been raised for schools nationwide at 280 Drive One 4 UR School events since 2007, according to a Ford news release.

Fairlane Ford Assistant Sales Manager Jim Flynn said the event is an opportunity to have some fun, contribute to the community and show off the quality of the new Ford vehicles.

“We’re happy to be able to showcase what an exciting time this is for Ford,” he said. “We are truly raising the bar on quality, innovation and fuel efficiency.”

“We are looking forward to a fun day that will benefit the entire community.”
