An artist’s rendering of the suspect in an east Dearborn home invasion on Chase Road, based on police interviews. |
The suspect allegedly pushed his way into the home and threatened the only occupant inside, a female resident, with a handgun while pushing her to the ground. The woman got to her feet and ran to the front door before a struggle ensued and the suspect fled, according to police. The woman suffered an injured arm in the attack.
The suspect is believed to have gone to a Dearborn Heights home near the intersection of Van Born and Inkster Roads. He did not get into the second home but a similar description of him leads police to believe it could be the same man.
The suspect is described as 5’10 to 6’0 in height, thin build, late 20s or early 30s, bald, and clean shaven, driving an older white Ford Taurus and wearing a black short-sleeved shirt with ” Comcast” on the left breast area.
