Middle Eastern American (MEA) TV and radio, formerly known as TV Orient, is celebrating its first annual culture and music festival in Warren, Friday July 16, 4-11 p.m., Saturday July 17, 2-11 p.m. and Sunday July 18, 2-10 p.m. Festival attractions include raffles, vendor booths, MEA idol talent show, children’s games, Middle Eastern cuisine and more than 20 live dance and music performances. MEA TV and radio reaches more than 550,000 Middle Eastern Americans in Michigan and 250,000 in Washington DC. MEA represents Middle Easterners from Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco and Yemen. MEA radio is heard by more than six million people in southeast Michigan, northeast Ohio, and western Ontario, Canada.
