DEARBORN — The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee is now accepting nominations for the Guardian of Justice Award for the 9th Annual Judges Night Reception which is expected to be held Friday, October 15, 2010 at 6 p.m.

The Guardian of Justice Award is presented to  judges who have done an outstanding job of upholding civil rights in their courtrooms. Nominations are for judges only, must include the name of the courthouse and a brief paragraph as to  why the judge should be considered for this award. All nominations must be received by August 30, 2010 in order for consideration for the 2010 awards and should be sent to adcmichigan@adc.org
