Lansing Mayor and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Virg Bernero agreed to participate in three debates across the state today and said that he would work with Republican nominee Rick Snyder to accept others.The three dates include a join WXYZ/WWJ/Crain’s Detroit Business debate on October 21, a WOOD-TV debate on September 21, and another debate that will air on WJBK Fox 2 and WWJ Radio in Detroit on a total of 55 stations across the state on October 7 at 7 p.m.

Bernero has challenged Snyder to eight debates across Michigan in total since winning the Democratic primary by a total of 59% to 41% over Andy Dillon.
