Alexander Tom Yono, 30, of Oak Park, plead not-guilty on charges of
second-degree murder in the death of Mohammed Abboud, 18, from Dearborn.
He also plead not-guilty to three counts of felonious assault and assault with intent to murder and was remanded back into the custody of Wayne County.
In a short court appearance at the Third Circuit court in Detroit, Judge Daniel Ryan read the charges against Yono and his defense attorney, Domnick J. Sorise, and a trial date was set for November 16. Yono has until Sept.
20 to accept a plea deal. If found guilty on all charges he could face up
to life in prison.
