DEARBORN — A protest in accordance with the internationally recognized Al Quds Day will be held at Dearborn City Hall on Friday, September 3 at 2:30 p.m. The event is organized by the Jerusalem (Al Quds) Committee.
Al Quds Day is a worldwide day of protest that occurs on the last Friday of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan with the intention of bringing people of all backgrounds together to stand up to injustices being perpetrated against native Palestinians as well as other injustice across the world. It is referred to as a day of remembrance and solidarity for oppressed peoples globally.
