FLINT — On Monday, Sep. 20, Elias Abuelazam, suspect in the Flint serial killings, was charged with one count of open murder and four counts of assault with intent to murder by Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton. Abuelazam now faces six charges. He was previously charged with one count of assault with intent to murder. He is the suspect in the cases of 18 attacks in three states, five of which resulted in deaths. About four other families are waiting to see if Abuelazam will receive additional charges in the case of their loved ones. Officials say Abuelazam will be hit with more charges as further evidence is collected
