The DISH Network TV service debuted its new IPTV service this past week, responding to customer requests and complaints from people unable to install satellite dishes at their apartments, condos, and/or homes.
The IPTV doesn’t require a dish like the company’s previous TV packages, instead working via broadband Internet, but still has the ability to deliver up to 26 Arabic channels.
“Any customer who could not receive our services through satellite now can receive through broadband,” said Mahmoud El-Danef, a senior marketing manager with DISH.
“We’ve had high demand for this service especially in Dearborn where many Arab Americans could not install our satellite but now we’re making the dream a reality, so regardless of where you live you can get our services without problems.”
The service works through a small device that plugs into a TV or Internet connection.
Arabic channels include Al Jazeera and Al Jazeera Sports, New TV, Murr TV, MBN, Al Arabiya and more. For more information, visit www.dishworldiptv.com or call 855.975.3278.
