Columbia University’s Middle East Institute Center for Palestine Studies announced it will now offer a post doctoral fellowship in Palestinian Studies. Applicants for the 2011-2012 Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Award are now being accepted. The semester-long fellowship offers a $25,000 grant and the opportunity to conduct post-doctoral research. Recipients of the award will focus on issues related to Palestinians and Palestine. The fellow is expected to spend one semester at Columbia University, focusing on research and becoming engaged with the university’s Center for Palestine Studies at the Middle East Institute.
