DEARBORN — House State Representative George Darany (D-Dearborn) is now on the Education, Health Policy,  Military and Veteran Affairs and Homeland Security House committees for the 2011-2012 legislation session.

Darany has participated on committees and projects related to the Dearborn school system in the past. He is looking forward to continuing his work supporting DPS as a part of these committees.

“Serving on these important committees allows me to be a leader on issues that are very important to our families in the Dearborn community,” said Darany.

“Supporting our schools has always been a priority for me because a high-quality education is the foundation to a child’s success and to our economic success as a state. I will stand up for our schools and fight to make sure they get the resources they deserve.”
