DEARBORN — Starting on Monday, older middle and high school students will be asked to have their student ID’s on them when boarding school buses.
The district said it is putting the new rule into place to better track student bus usage to make services more efficient and to be able to better answer questions from parents as to whether or not their children boarded the bus.
David Mustonen, Dearborn Schools’ director of communications, said that the system won’t deny students attempting to board that don’t have an ID.
