DETROIT — The Society of Automotive Engineers awarded Dr.
Badih Jawad his SAE Fellow Grade Award at Cobo Hall this past week. The Fellow
Grade of Membership is the highest grade of membership at SAE, which recognizes
and honors long-term members who have made a significant impact on society’s
mobility technology through leadership, research and innovation. Election to
Fellow is an exceptional professional distinction bestowed on around 20
recipients each year from all around the world.  A distinctive Fellow pin was presented to all new Fellows
this year at the annual dinner on Monday night at the Renaissance Hotel, and a framed
Fellow certificate was presented to Dr. Jawad during the SAE Awards Ceremony at
Cobo Hall as well. Both functions were held at the SAE World Congress and
Exposition in the city.
