DEARBORN – Michigan Sporting defeated the Dearborn Stars in the Michigan Premier Soccer League Cup quarterfinals on Friday, June24 by a score of 2-1 in extra time in one of the most intense cross-town rivalry games in recent memory. 

Michigan Sporting, which is sponsored Papaya Fruit Market, is based in Dearborn. The Stars are sponsored by the Lebanese International Business Council.
