SOUTHFIELD — Congressmen John Conyers and Hansen Clarke will host a job fair and town hall meeting on Tuesday, August 16 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Wayne County Community College District’s School of Continuing Education’s downtown campus at 1001 W. Fort Street. Employers from across the country will be featured. Registration starts at 8 a.m.; both public and private sector representatives are attending. 

In addition to the job fair, seminars and workshops for prospective employees will also be offered. 

The town hall meeting from 6-8 p.m. after the job fair will discuss the Congressional Black Caucus’ For the People Jobs Initiative. To register online or for more info visit www.conyers.house.gov.
