DEARBORN – 19th District Court Judge Mark Somers said there was reasonable evidence for Fadi Faraj to be bound over for trial to Wayne County Circuit Court.

The decision came down last Friday against Faraj, who is accused of shooting Hassan Zeidan, 23, multiple times after a scuffle related to a basketball game at Riverside Academy in the city. 

Faraj, a former boxer, faces murder and felony firearm charges from the incident. Next up, an arraignment on information is scheduled for Sept. 16 in circuit court.
