HAMTRAMCK — On Saturday, November 5, 2011, from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm, the Hamtramck NAACP will host a forum to address anti-Muslim and anti-Arab sentiment, ethnic student fighting, and how the NAACP can help to resolve these concerns. The event will be held at People’s Community Services (8625 Joseph Campau Ave) in Hamtramck and will feature special guests Muddasa Tawakkul of Muslim Political Action Committee, Abdulhakem Alsadah, President of the National Association of Yemeni-Arab Americans, Butch Hollowell of Detroit NAACP, and three Hamtramck high school students.
