The Arab American and Chaldean Council is proud to announce its new Fresh Food Program. ACC, in partnership with Forgotten Harvest, will kick off its Fresh Food Program on Tuesday, Dec. 20 starting 1p.m. at its Youth Recreation and Leadership Center in Detroit (62 W. Seven Mile Road, 48203.) 

From 1- 3 p.m. every second and fourth Tuesday of the month ACC will be providing much needed nutritional food items to those in need. ACC’s kick-off event is expected to serve nearly 500 families from all backgrounds. Each family will receive bags of prepared and perishable foods. Together with Forgotten Harvest, ACC will work to relieve hunger in the Detroit metropolitan community. For more information contact ACC at (248) 559-1990.
