DEARBORN — Mayor Jack O’Reilly and Police Chief Ron Haddad were among those on hand Friday, Dec. 16 with dozens of supporters, friends, and family for the grand opening of the Nagi Building, a new tax and accounting services building on Michigan Avenue near Schaefer Road in the same plaza as the new Dearborn Fresh supermarket.
Owner Gihad Nagi, who is a certified public accountant with a degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and his Master’s from Wayne State University, as well as a former Plante Moran and Chrysler employee, addressed the crowd of attendees. “We understand your financial accomplishments run parallel to our endeavors here, we want to be your trusted advisers and we know that every decision affects me and my clients personally,” he said, thanking the crowd.
O’Reilly congratulated Nagi on the accomplishment and said he was happy to see the new business come together so well.
Nagi opened his first office in Hamtramck and plans to make the Dearborn building his new central location to serve businesses and individuals in a variety of financial needs.
