DEARBORN — The annual election meeting for the Yemen American Benevolent Association were held on Sunday, March 25, with new executive committee and board members elected by the group. 

Guests and comments were welcomed by Fahd Saleh, YABA’s president, with presentations given by Ali Baleed Almaklani, Adel Nasser Alsoofi, and Bassam Salem. An election committee was appointed by the general body of YABA, which includes the following members: Fahd Saleh, President, Dhafer Ali Almaklani, VP, Adel Nasser Alsoofi, treasurer, Ramzi Algathi, vice treasurer, Abdullah Muthana, Arabic secretary, Bassam Salem Ali, English secretary, and Wathah Qasem Alsoofi, executive member. 

Board members were also elected, and are: Dr. Dahan Alnajjar, Saleh Almuraisi, Saleh Obaid Ahmed, Ali Nasser, Mohammed Awad Alyaheri, Yahya Qasem Almuflahi, Yahya Almuraisi Alubilly, Mrs. Fattum Almutahr, Saleh Ahmed Alhussiani, Abdelnasser Alsoofi, Raoof Ali Qasem, Mrs. Ramiah Qasem, Mrs. Sarah Soofi, Yazan Soofi, and Nasser Ahmed Hijan.
