DEARBORN – The Fordson High School group Students Taking Action Today (STAT) held its first annual dinner at Byblos Banquet Hall on Friday, April 13 bringing together students from the school, local government officials, college students and more.
The organization’s goal is to ease the college application process and to expand the horizons of students limited by cultural and social barriers. Among those honored at the dinner, which was attended by hundreds, included University of Michigan student group Doors of Opportunity, retired Fordson Principal Imad Fadlallah, and Raad Alawan, publisher of School Life magazine.
