DEARBORN – On Friday, May 4, Dearborn School Board and other officials including Mayor Jack O’Reilly and U.S. Rep. John Dingell held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Henry Ford Community College’s new Welcome Center.
The state-of-the-art new center will allow for a seamless flow of services in terms of registration, financial aid applications, speaking with advisers and more, with technology playing a big role in the 30,000 square-foot space. An environmental focus was also added including bamboo wall coverings, many recycled materials and low-toxin paint. For more info visit www.hfcc.edu.
