Synder (L) welcomes Romney to Michigan. |
LANSING – An article posted recently on Tampa Bay online suggested that Mitt Romney could pick Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder as his running mate should he receive the presidential nomination for November’s election.
The theory is based on the hotel assignments for state delegations visiting the Republican National Convention, and also notes that the Republican Party and the Romney campaign seem to have an affinity for the state of Michigan because of its manufacturing base and Romney’s ties to the state. The Michigan delegation reportedly has the second-best hotel assignment among those attending.
