DETROIT – A ceremony honoring 15 officers from the Detroit Police Department was held on Saturday paying tribute to sacrifices and “quiet courage” of the recipients according to WWJ.
A total of 34 officers were honored worldwide for those who’ve shown bravery in tense situations.
Toufic Saati, an Arab American from the Detroit Police Department, was among those invited to the White House for the national Association of Police Organizations’ TOP COPS awards.
