DEARBORN — On July 14th the Yemeni American Association (YAA) held its annual scholarship award ceremony. This marked the 15th year the YAA has hosted the event which honors the Yemeni American youth for their academic achievements. Fifteen students were honored with scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each. More than 400 people attended the event which was held at Byblos Banquet Hall here. Awards were distributed by Dr. Saleh Musleh and Mohamed Abdulla.
