WESTLAND — Bargain Club, Michigan’s newest retailer of closeouts, excess inventory, and liquidation merchandise, opened its first store here on Nov. 2. Over forty dignitaries and elected officials joined Westland Mayor William Wild in inaugurating the city’s new retail establishment on Tuesday during a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony. The founders of Bargain Club are Chaker Aoun and Nasser Beydoun.

The store is the latest addition to Westland’s core shopping and dining district, generating much needed traffic to the West Ridge Shopping Center and creating over twenty new local jobs.
“We are pleased to welcome another Michigan-based company to our All American City,” said Mayor Wild. “The addition of Bargain Club gives shoppers another option as we head into this holiday season.”
