LANSING — Nearly 10 months after his murder and with a $50,000 reward on the table, Faraj “Fred” Dally’s murder is still unsolved.
Days after he was killed at his store, Medicine Chest Liquor store in Detroit, the AFPD Foundation offered the $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed Dally.
Dally was shot and killed in the morning of May 1 as he was about to open his store in the 9000 block of Dexter on Detroit’s west side.
On Wednesday March 20, Senator Bert Johnson (2nd District) with State Representative Klint Kesto presented a special tribute to the Dally family on the floor of the Senate.
