Bloomfield Hills — On Saturday, April 20 the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding will host its annual spring dinner co-sponsored by the Muslim Unity Center. It will focus on the ISPU’s Marriage and Divorce Project 2013. Often Muslim Americans face great challenges getting a divorce, because of Islamic marriages.
Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with ISPU fellow Julie Macfarlane. Registration is at 5:30 p.m., dinner and the program start at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 a person and babysitting will be available, but only with prior registration.
