DEARBORN — Henry Ford Community College has announced the financial aid priority deadline for fall 2013, which is June 6, 2013 for students submitting the 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and June 27 for all other requested documentation.
To meet the Financial Aid Priority Deadline, a student must perform the following steps:
1. Submit the 2013-2014 FAFSA. The FAFSA is due to HFCC by June 6, 2013. Please note: it generally takes three to five days from the time a student submits their FAFSA for the HFCC Financial Aid office to receive it into the system.
2. Submit any requested documentation necessary to complete your financial aid file by June 27, 2013.
Students who do not meet the fall 2013 financial aid priority deadline are still able to apply for financial aid. However, they will be responsible for setting up an EZ Pay Installment Plan, or paying for their classes in full by the payment deadline, while they await their financial aid report to be processed.
