The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the relationship between OU-WBSOM and NAAMA. Meeting participants discussed a number of matters, including the innovative curriculum that is being taught at the School of Medicine, cultural sensitivity and awareness, international outreach, and potential partnerships between the two groups.
The meeting was followed by a private tour of the School, led by Dr. Folberg. According to NAAMA, the Dean and his staff went to great lengths to ensure that the visit was informative, productive and educational. “I believe creating and nurturing these types of relationships between NAAMA MI and higher academic institutions will benefit both entities in the long run,” said Dr. Fawaz.
