DEARBORN — Three of the four suspects involved in the case of a local Arab American man, who was brutally murdered at his home last summer, have pleaded guilty to the crime. On June 13, Kristan Kainnadenise Holmes pled guilty to one charge of second degree murder in the death of Hassen Jaber, 45. The counts of felony murder, armed robbery and conspiracy were dismissed. Her sentencing is expected to take place on July 9 at 9 a.m. before Wayne County Circuit Judge Michael Callahan.
Two other suspects in the case have already pled guilty and have been sentenced. The fourth suspect, Anthony Jackson Jr., 27, is scheduled for jury trial on October 21, before Judge Callahan on charges of felony murder, armed robbery and conspiracy, and is being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail.
