MICHIGAN — The Michigan Muslim Community Council (MMCC) began Ramadan with a successful start to its “Ramadan Fight Against Hunger” Campaign. A team of energetic, hard working volunteers came together and helped to package food on the first day of the holy month at Forgotten Harvest.
A number of other volunteer opportunities to take part in food packing are planned for Thursday, July 25 and Wednesday, July 31. These events will take place at Gleaners and Forgotten Harvest. Volunteers are encouraged to bring youth groups, friends and family to participate. For more information, visit www.mimuslimcouncil.com.
