DEARBORN — La Pita will be featured this fall on the Food Network’s  “Chuck’s Eat the Street” program.

The show host Chuck Hughes visited La Pita on Thursday, July 25, and spent two hours in the restaurant’s kitchen with Chef Hassan Ahmad Hamid. 

The program will feature La Pita’s chef demonstrating to Hughes and his viewers how to make Mlukhiye, a popular Middle Eastern dish. The episode is expected to air in November.

“Chuck’s Eat the Street” goes from city to city to feature food from different cultures, around the country.

La Pita serves a variety of  Middle Eastern classics with a modern touch in a fine dinning environment.
