TRENTON — The 18th annual celebration of “Jazz on the River” will provide two full days of music and fun, from August 3-4, along the river’s edge, at Elizabeth Park in Trenton.
International and emerging artists will be featured during this festival, including Sax and The City, starring Marion Meadows; Paul Taylor; Vincent Ingala and Joe McBride; Jeff Lorber Fusion, featuring Paul Jackson Jr. and Eric Marienthall; Nick Colionne; Lin Rountree; Alexander Zonjic, among others.
Grills and alcoholic beverages are not permitted at Wayne County parks. BBQ ribs and chicken, hot dogs, burgers and Brauts, veggies, ice cream and other special treats will be available for purchase.
The event is free to the public. Parking will, however, be available at Elizabeth Park for a $5 donation, in support of Wayne County Parks.
Another parking option will also be available at the corner of Jefferson and West Road, and Jefferson and Elm.
