On Sunday, Sep. 1, Arab American and Chaldean Council President and CEO Dr. Haifa Fakhouri was honored by the National Arab American Medical Association (NAAMA) for her support and commitment to making a difference.
Dr. Fakhouri was recognized at NAAMA’s 35th National Medical Convention in Newport Beach, California. The ACC is one of Michigan’s largest human service organizations and was started in metro-Detroit more than 30 years ago.
The objectives of NAAMA encompass a wide range of professional, educational, charitable, humanitarian and cultural activities. ACC’s partnership with NAAMA helps support programs that provide health education and disease prevention and support general humanitarian activities.
