DEARBORN — According to a report, the driver of the hayride that crashed on Sunday, Oct. 27 in Camp Dearborn was drinking before the accident.
The driver registered a .06 blood/alcohol content. The legal limit is .08. The Milford Police and City of Dearborn are working together to determine the cause of the accident that led to nine adults being taken to the hospital.
There were 16 people on the hayride. Some of the injuries suffered included a potentially broken jaw, bruises, neck and back pain and scrapes. This year, about 2,500 people have participated in hayrides at the site.
