DEARBORN — Henry Ford Community College (HFCC) will host the “Stop Test Anxiety” seminars on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 18, 25, and March 4, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on each day in Room LRC 117 of the Liberal Arts Building. The seminars are free and open to the public. Students must attend all sessions in order to receive the maximum benefit from this seminar, and participants may not come to any subsequent session without attending the first session.
John Carroll, a counselor at HFCC and licensed hypnotherapist, will coordinate this seminar. Its purpose is to eliminate worry and panic and to help students improve grades, attitude, confidence and concentration during tests. In addition, the seminar also focuses on a student’s performance in mathematics, speeches, labs and impromptus.
