ST. CLAIR SHORES — On Monday, a St. Clair Shores nurse was arraigned on charges of dismemberment and removal of her son’s body parts, which were discovered in bags last week in areas of St. Clair County.
Donna Scrivo still hasn’t been charged with murder in connection with her son’s death, as police are still gathering evidence. A murder investigation was launched and more charges are expected to emerge. Police also weren’t able to comment on the motive or time the murder occurred, and they haven’t revealed whether any trauma was found on the body.
The victim, Ramsey Scrivo, suffered from mental illness and was diagnosed with psychosis. He threatened to hang himself when his father passed away of terminal illness. Scrivo filed a missing persons report on her son Jan. 27, claiming he left his home where she was also temporarily staying while her fire damaged house was undergoing repairs. Bloodstains and bleach were found in the home. Scrivo was also spotted carrying black garbage bags with her son’s remains.
