Employers at the Oakland County job fair are hoping to fill hundreds of open positions. |
PONTIAC — On June 27, more than 50 Michigan employers will try to fill about 500 positions at the Oakland County Job Fair at the Marriott Hotel in Pontiac.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature a free career workshop and will connect thousands of candidates with employers. Job applicants will participate in 20-minute interviews with local and national recruiters.
During the career workshop, job seekers will receive information from industry experts about resume writing, job interview techniques, how to search for jobs, fast track educational opportunities and many more topics.
Participating companies have positions available in several career fields, including but not limited to, engineering, information technology, skilled trades, manufacturing, production, education, real estate, nursing, human services, rehabilitation and accounting.
