DETROIT — Warren Evans, the newly-elected Wayne County executive, announced last week that he had chosen a transition team. Evans, who earned 70 percent of the votes, has named Joseph Nardone, development director for the Wayne County Airport Authority, to lead the transition team.
Lisa Canada, legislative director for the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, will serve as co-chair and lead the committee on operational efficiencies.
Robert J. Daddow, deputy Oakland County executive, will lead a committee on the budget deficit.
Mark Davidoff, managing partner of the law firm Deloitte LLP, will serve as co-chair and lead a committee on financial responsibility and reinventing government.
Richard Kaufman, a shareholder in the law firm Zausmer, Kaufman, August & Caldwell in Farmington Hills, will lead a committee on the Wayne County Jail.
Bernard Parker, a former Wayne County Commissioner, will serve as co-chair and lead a committee on health and welfare.
Mark Zausmer, managing shareholder of Zausmer, Kaufman, August and Caldwell will lead a committee on legal affairs and ethics.
