DETROIT — Dr. Haifa Fakhouri, president and CEO of the Arab American and Chaldean Council, will be honored at the Urban League of Detroit and Southeast Michigan’s 36th annual Salute to Distinguished Warriors Dinner. The event will take place Thursday, March 26 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center Hotel. Other honorees will include former Gov. James Blanchard; Rev. Dr. James C. Perkins of the Greater Christ Baptist Church of Detroit; Maribodine Robinson, of the Maribodine Robinson Unitr nonprofit organization and the late Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and radio host Angelo Henderson.
