DEARBORN – The Dearborn Board of Education has selected four candidates for further consideration as the next superintendent in the 19,600-student district. Brian Whiston, the current superintendent, has been named a superintendent for the state and is expected to leave his post soon.

The four candidates are:

·   Dr. Glenn Maleyko, executive director of human resources at Dearborn Public Schools

·   Dr. Gail Shenkman, associate superintendent at Dearborn Public Schools

·   Dr. John VanWagoner, associate superintendent general education at Shiawassee Regional Educational Services District.

·   Dr. Ron Wilson, former superintendent in Cass City and Howell Public Schools

Public Interviews will be held on June 9 and June 11 in the Board Room at the Administration Building, 18700 Audette, Dbn. 48124.

All four candidates will be contacted and scheduled for one of two interviews to be held each night.
