DETROIT — Ali Waab, a local 16-year-old high school junior, ranked second in the state and seventh in a national tournament. He has been wrestling for four years. He is ranked 19th overall in the country. In one teen national tournament he went undefeated with a 7-0 record.
As he prepares to enter his senior year, his main goal is to gain as much exposure as he can in hopes of continuing his wrestling career in college.
