native of Baghdad has her own cooking show on Almas Television called Cooking with Samira. She initially became known around metro Detroit as the former host of a cooking show on Middle Eastern American
Television called, In the Kitchen with Samira. Cholagh is the author of Treasured
Middle Eastern Cookbook. Her recipes have appeared in other cookbooks and have been shared by people around the world.
