DEARBORN — Officials believe a garage fire on Orchard Avenue was lit by a suspect who fled the scene on a bicycle. 

Surveillance video from Sept. 17 shows a White male riding a bicycle down an alley on the 6400 block of Orchard Avenue at approximately 7 p.m.

After the suspect stopped briefly, a garage caught fire. The suspect, wearing a baseball cap and shorts, quickly left the area on his bicycle.

Dearborn Police are searching for the suspect, who appears to be between 20 and 30 years old.

“We strongly encourage anyone with information to come forward and assist us in identifying the suspect in this case,” said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad.
