The Islamic House of Wisdom invites community members from all faiths to celebrate its 20th anniversary fundraising dinner on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m..

For two decades, the Islamic institution has been a community platform for education, youth programs, promoting family values and assisting the needy in the community.

“The Islamic House of Wisdom has been and open and friendly institution of hope and healing during its history of 20 years, helping people with their personal and family issues, spiritual and social challenges,” Imam Mohammad Elahi said.

Elahi added that the institute has been an active promoter of intrafaith and interfaith talks in the community, uniting Shiites, Sunnis and Christians alike.

The dinner will take place to show appreciation to the founding and board members, who have strengthened the institution during its 20 years of existence. Elahi said he also thanks the institute’s members and supporters on their commitment to the House of Wisdom.
