DEARBORN — Students from public and private schools across Dearborn are taking part in efforts to beautify the city.
The Dearborn City Beautiful Commission and Mayor Jack O’Reilly welcomed students serving as junior commissioners during the annual breakfast kick off for the schools’ beautification and environmental program.
The students were sworn in as commissioners on Nov. 4 and promised to work on initiatives to beautify their campuses and promote environmentally friendly practices. Clean-up parades are among the activities in the City Beautiful Commission’s schools program.
