DEARBORN – A major fire that broke out Monday morning at a DTE Energy substation in Dearborn hand left over 6,000 people with no power.
Fire crews responded to the scene just before 7 a.m. at a location off Warren Avenue just west of Schaefer Road. DTE said about 6,000 customers in the immediate area are without power because of the fire.
DTE told residents it hopes to have power back in th area by Monday evening.
