DEARBORN — Sam Baydoun of Century 21 Curran & Christie, is the new president of the Dearborn Area Board of Realtors, replacing Al Makled of Remax Leading Edge.
The Board held it general membership meeting on Tuesday December 8, at Byblos Banquet Hall. During the meeting, the new directors for 2016 were sworn in. Those members include the following directors;
Robert Marx of Century 21 President elect; Sally Mrozowski of Century 2; Maria Lacaria Rauti of Century 21; Laura Admson of Prudential Select and Housam Harb of Remax Team 2000.
The directors were sworn in by the President of Michigan Realtors, Gary Reggish.
During the meeting, Baydoun asked his colleagues to observe a moment of silence to remember the victims of San Bernardino and all the victims of terrorism throughout the world.
Superintendent of Dearborn Public Schools Glenn Maleyko was the keynote speaker. Baydoun, who is one of the top realtors in the state of Michigan, served as president of the board in 2003. That same year, he was selected as the Realtor of the Year. Baydoun is also the external vice president of The Arab American Political Action Committee.
